Shogakukan has posted a web comic titled “My Sweet Sunday” which is drawn by two highly acclaimed Shogakukan mangaka, Rumiko Takahashi and Mitsuru Adachi.
Posted on the Club Sunday section of Shogakukan’s Shonen Sunday website, this work is to celebrate the 50th annivesary of their long running magazine, Weekly Shounen Sunday.
The manga is free to read from March 25 to May 24.
Both artists are also planning to debut their latest series soon, after Takahashi finally finished Inuyasha last year. Adachi meanwhile will contribute to Shogakukan’s upcoming magazine, Monthly Shounen Sunday in May.

I wonder if this one'll ever finish...
This is where I regret ditching my jap class.
I must say I'm quite a fan of this older style of manga artwork.
Same. Takahashi's stuff is what got me into manga/anime. I hope whatever her new series is, it'll more like her Rumic World stuff.
I tend to not like the older style as much. But I like much of Adachi's work.
new and exciting. doesn't look like Maison Ikkoku or Ranma...
i missed Ranma too much.
Rumiko Takahashi and Mitsuru Adachi are my favorite mangaka. Maison Ikkoku, specially is the best manga ever. It´s really nice to see them doing something together.
Translated Ranma was the first manga I ever read. Got me hooked on reading manga. I wish I could read Japanese, because I don't know if someone would translate a web comic.
I love them both since Urusei Yatsura and Touch.Children please pay attention to these manga-kas who sells real millions of manga.
The comic is essentially how they got into the business and their major influences. The simple dinner at the end was a nice touch.
In 20-30 years, we'll see a similar piece by the authors of today and their major influences :)
this sounds interesting...
The first manga I've ever read was GTO, then 3x3 eyes, then "Urusei Yatsura" and touch, man those were some awesome manga by major mangakas
