For the most part, it is not. I just don't want this site to be known for its "erotic 3D galleries", that sort of thing. People come here if they find it interesting... and if they come here they should be interested in the the reason they came here - and that reason was not to find 'idol porn'... or at least it shouldn't be. I've been coming here as of about June last year and to me it seems like a couple of more explicit galleries have made it through - hence why I am making these comments. It's comparable, sure, but I'm not arguing that - I just want them to be careful as to what galleries they post containing real people in erotic situations. Especially ones that are not obviously linked.

Depending on what he responds, I don't know.

Sounds to me like the site has been doing well since its birth. It's provided a wide assortment of fetishes as well as current events in the eastern hemisphere. What's the problem with posting more of the popular topics?

The way I see it, topics such as these are the early chains in a chain reaction, similar to the effects of a gateway drug. Passersby will notice this, probably looking for porn of the sort(who cares right?), click the link, get what they need, and then see what else this site can offer. I'll admit I came here looking for a quick fix for my porn addiction, then found myself immersed in the China Blocks Youtube post.

There's a wide selection of topics to discuss on this site. Since the site appears to be doing well, it just doesn't make sense to go backwards, or commence limitations on certain materials. Rock on SC! and Artefact :P

Why is Artefact's desire to satisfy a seemingly vast majority of visitors to his site, seen as something negative? If he wanted less hits, he would have created a site that dealt with raising snails in captivity...

Also, I've been coming to this site since last August (after stumbling upon it)and the type of content found on the site then is comparable to what we see to this day, which is why I'm still here. Maybe your sensibilities have changed, Scarletash ;)

Obviously, every single gallery or article can't appeal to everyone, so not looking at them is the best option(as I've done with quite a few).

This is only the second time that I've left a comment on Sankaku Complex but I was motivated enough by this that I had to give my 2 cents as well for once (or twice). I also respect your opinion Scarletash, so don't take this personally :)

Yes Artefact, to prevent 10 year olds and people who have no interest in Japan or Japan's visual culture from frequenting your site, you should immediately cease and desist from posting paipan in your galleries.

Tell me, is this site completely committed to what it's for or is it just trying to be popular, and that's it? If it's the second, why not make every second post something not relevant but high rating? WHERE DO YOU DRAW THE LINE? Huh? Popularity contest or quirky but awesome Japan oriented site?

I'm just saying, alright - don't stray too far from the core ideas.
And no, I have not made any other complaints or troubles for you. For the most part I think this is a very good site to come to (as you will remember from what I've said previously. I just don't want it to be full of inappropriate, popularity seeking porn galleries (mostly of the real world type). Keep some integrity and class, please?!?

And as for your comment down further, I might as well comment on that here too. Yes, ero-manga, eroge, ero-figures and so on are pornographic (at least partly) in nature. And that is fine, because that's what this site is about - all them and much more. And I know you have to strike the right balance between pure "popular" and "less popular but much more relevant". But real people porn should not be very common on this website - even if it is of Japanese idols or whoever. I know Japan "censors" them but frankly, not very well - almost laughably so. But how does it really relate to the subject materials? Is it appropriate? Will it help or hinder the site's reputation? Do YOU care?

You never forfeit the right to "complain", if you want to call it that. For starters, how are you going to complain about something if you haven't looked at it to find out why it should be complained about? It makes no sense. Also, the "mature content filter" is not a get out of jail free card. I have the right to make my own decisions. No doubt you will just say "then decide not to look at such things" and I would be very disappointed if it came to that.

Please be mature and take responsibility for viewing this gallery? What do you think I am doing?!? I am commenting on the gallery to you what my opinions are, and why I think it is too far. Is this not a sensible thing to do? What would you have me do? Not say anything? Complain to somewhere else? Sit on my bed and cry that the world is too big and mean? No, I think this is very responsible a course of action. I did look some of it, and this is how i am choosing to deal with it.

As I have said I have made no complaints of any kind besides these comments. It was not me or anyone I know of.

Saruda - The "lotion" gallery is probably in the same category, yes. I saw it as a once off at the time.

The "tentacle reap" one is fine because it is about an applicable subject - meaning anime and manga - and you can't just cover non erotic ones. The "3D" ones just for ratings are the ones I have the most trouble with - especially when they don't relate.

And the "tan lines" one, while not brilliant, was ok because it had no significant intimate contact between genital areas.

Artifact - I have said I have no issues with "ero content" on this site - it just has to be applicable. Semi-random explicit image galleries of real people do not fit into what this site was stated to be for. Think about it, ok?

i agree, i think this gallery is taking it a little too far, as much as im not against this :D its just not something i expected from Sankaku Complex.
