A trio of men have been arrested after their odious scheme to rob women by splattering them with urine and then snatch their bags came to light.
The trio of men allegedly approached a lady (62) leaving a bank in central Tokyo after midnight, after she had just withdrawn some cash, and from a perfume bottle they splashed her back with a yellow “urine-like” liquid; in the ensuing confusion they attempted to make off with her bag, which contained ¥30,000 in cash.
The men were caught red-handed and charged with attempted theft; one man admits the charge, whilst the other two deny it. All the men were of Chilean extraction.
There are said to have been at least four other cases using the same modus operandi since December; police are investigating in the hopes of uncovering more cases.

A friend of mine was victim of these one time, He went to the bank for US$600, some guys followed him (without him to notice obviously) and spitted milk on his coat. The thief lied telling him that he accidentally spilled milk on his coat, the thief, apologizing for being such an idiot, invited my friend to clean his coat over his house that was at the very same place the scene occured. They both went into the house where a woman recieved them feeling sorry about what just happened to his coat. When my friend went to the bathroom to clean himself from the milk spreading over his shirt, the thieves (yes, both. The guy and the woman) took the money and ran away.
Later on when my friend went to the police to accuse the householders to steal his money, they found out that the house was used just to complete the robery, and was owned by an old woman that was on travel by that time.
Now reading this I'm glad it was Chocolate milk :)
