The recent 2009 Tokyo International Anime Fair (or TAF) showed off some cosplay “companion” girls, though a close look at these (from a distance) appealing Yoko cosplayers reveals they are in fact outrageously attired:

The beetle lady was cosplaying a specific character, she even has it hanging from her bag. Awesome to see it again, I had forgotten about it. I just wish I knew what it was named.
Oh my God! I just noticed it, even though I actually went there today and took pictures of the exact same girls!
AS much as I hate 3D, its better than state side cosplaying… *shudders*
