A recent comic and manga best seller list for the USA, compiled by the New York Times, has revealed the embarrassing truth: manga is Naruto.

Of the recent top ten (for early March), only three non-Naruto titles feature, and the top ranks are entirely dominated by the title:

The 2ch persons seem to be giving too much atention to the blond-hair-blue-eyes thingie. People who live in multicolored hair culture don't notice such things, at last not in male characters. White ppl won't think Naruto is white, because most characters in all anime and manga lack asian features so they all can be seen as caucasian\asian depending only on viewers preference.
