The final crucial details on the upcoming Hatsune Miku game for the PSP, Project Diva, emerge: we see some rather captivating gameplay footage, and news of an exclusive Nendoroid Puchi Miku to accompany it. We also learn the release date…
Most interesting is the musical dance action offered by the game:
Reminiscent of the better class of 3D Miku MAD? We might also conclude that proper motion capture of a competent dancer makes render quality irrelevant – this looks far more appealing than much better rendered 3D Miku dancing. Hopefully MAD creators will take note…
The last preview was not up to this standard though, so who knows what the overall level will be.
Good Smile have announced a Nendoroid Puchi will be available with the game as well – thanks to Topher for the tip.
The release date has been set at July 2nd, so expect any further details in the run up to the release.

Same reason I got my DS and PSP. Pre-ordered the game first, got the console once the game arrived :3
Games were Dokidoki Majo Shipan and Fate/Tiger Colosseum (good Japanese games never get ported T-T)

Damn that zettai ryouiki is captivating... I haven't given it much attention in MADs, but these clips from the game have made me realize how awesome it is.

i agree, while she was dancing it seems to lack moe qualities....
yeah... to tell the truth her dance looked stupid for me, more dancing like someone with mind disorder then a real dance... for me its horrible, but still miku rules so I guess there will be many orders... =.= sometimes I don't understand how stupid producers can be... it looks ridiculous, there was some american movie... Napoleon was it? The kid although a nerd danced like 1000% better then this... and its fucking irritating to see miku with idiotic poses like that... grr well hopefully game will be better

That aside, I'd like to see a better visual treatment of Hatsune-san. She looks a little "too much 2-D trying to look 3-D and failing" in the video.

The dancing amazingly fluent. They surely used motion capture to achieve that level of movement detail.
