Anime USB Memory Drives

The otaku consumer’s desire for more and more elements of the otherwise normal world to receive the ita treatment is far reaching, resulting in such varied goods such as packages of rice, curry, tanks, and of course the quintessential example of the itasha.
Below are a few examples of the ubiquitous USB memory stick that have undergone the procedure, mostly from hardware firm Buffalo, which seems to be resting comfortably at the top of the ita-USB memory market at present.
The following USB sticks come from Buffalo, hold 4GB of memory and have legs that can swivel to reveal the fragile USB connector.

The Buffalo USB memory can be purchased inside Japan at sites such as AmiAmi; international customers will likely need to turn to auction sites to acquire them. They cost around ¥4,000, which is quite steep for 4GB drives, but efficient data storage is most definitely besides the point of these devices.
However, Buffalo isn’t the only company making USB memory tailored for the otaku market – the premiere example of these must be the famous Code Geass Lancelot key:

I included most of Buffalo's current lineup (there is a link to their website).
There are some others out there, like the Geass ones, but no Vocaloid or Persona characters that I'm aware of...

Oh my god, I'd love a Chie one so much.
And I expect the Chinese clones will be out in a few weeks for half the original price and double the QUALITY.

No Asuka from Buffalo, yet.
I'd expect one sometime in the future, though. I might buy one, but I would also need to get the Rei to complete the pair, and that'll be pretty expensive...

Dog humping the usb port is funnier, but I do prefer these.. shame I don't need one.

Well, if you look carefully, when the little figures are in their "standing" pisitions, they're skirts are hiked right up to "peek-a-boo" level and yet there's nothing there to indicate any sort of underclothing.
Plus you're essentially taking these girls, bending them over, and plugging them in.

the large problem with the code geass one is that the weight of the metal will eventually bend teh connection area so much that it will start mis-conecting and eventually stop working. the smaller ones shouldn't have that much of a problem because plastic is lightweight but so much metal brings up problems, you can even see it bending in this pic...

Yeah, that can be a problem, though they did provide an extension cable to resolve that.
