Talent Agent Arrested for Interview Drug Raep

A Japanese tourist was arrested in the Philippines for the apparent besmirchment of a 19-year-old girl who he offered to recruit as an “entertainer”.
The victim, who was applying for work as a singer in Japan, agreed to meet with the recruiter at a mall located in Manila to fill out the necessary paperwork.
After their initial meeting he took her out for dinner, and then to his hotel room, where he promised to sign the documents for her work abroad.
The victim was then offered a glass of juice, and passed out shortly after drinking it.
Once the girl had awoken, she found herself to be completely nude. She quickly got dressed and fled the hotel, quickly reporting the incident to the police.
Local authorities waited for the culprit to check out of his hotel, and then arrested him on the spot. He was taken into custody to await the filing of a rape charge.
Whether he actually had his way with her, or merely “molested” her is not clear (forensically or otherwise). Nor is it clear whether his recruitment activities were genuine, or simply for the purpose of luring ladies back to his room.
