The video is cool but if you're going to make a new song from scratch, at least have more than some beeps on top of a bassline.
Satori has to be one of my top favorite characters or actually, almost any of the SA cast are ^^;
Love all the artworks of her, which I've came across.
Also, her theme '少女さとり ～ 3rd eye (Satori Maiden ~ 3rd Eye)' is by far the most awesome track from all the SA BGM's for me (the remixed Version STR by nadeco is great too~).
Anyway, great MAD and thanks for sharing it.

Obscure? She came 13th in the recent popularity poll, beating out every other character introduced in SWR and SA.
She's anything but obscure. Hell, I even have a dakimakura cover of her.
I did say "relatively". Touhou is already obscure. Those who do know of it are likely to only know of Reimu, Marisa, etc. Satori has no famous MADs, no anime appearances, etc...
Hell, I just recently found out about Touhou from people who obsessively play Touchoumon on the irc channel.
ICy, wikipedia has a decent article on it, though the touhou wiki would be better overall. It is indeed a series of games though.
Firetribe, I assume you mean Touhou Puppet Play when you say what I assume was meant to be Touhoumon.
Artefact, the people who only know of Reimu and Marisa though are also the people who only know of Touhou through videos though and, while they sadly make up probably a large portion of the English fanbase, they still don't make up a large portion of the overall fanbase. At least I hope the Japanese fanbase isn't full of them as well.
I know relatively little of her, and I'm the one that made that Touhou Pantsu gallery a few days ago...

I've only played one of these games before, and I couldn't tell you what the name was.
I'm sure I would enjoy the whole series, but I'm just not much of a gamer.
Do you not play the games then Quen, or have you just not gotten around to playing SA yet?
Overall, I'm not too sure what caused her popularity, but as soon as more doujins get translated, then it should help boost her appeal in regards to the Western fanbase as well.
