Ice Man Demands Female Company

A 44-year-old man dove into an icy river, then proceeded to remove all of his clothes, and demanded that a lady friend be summoned.
Eyewitnesses were shocked when the man first dove into the frozen waters, then removed his clothes, telling onlookers the phone to contact a female friend of his via a cellphone number he provided. His message being, “Tell her to come here!”
A rescue crew attempted to remove the man from the river but he resisted by throwing ice at them. They phoned the lady, but she told them she would not be joining him.
After an hour however, he finally agreed to be saved after lifting himself out of the waters. Following his rescue, the man couldn’t stop trembling and the lower half of his body had grown swollen and red (visible above).
No other abnormalities were found and his mental state appeared to be normal. He claims he was just trying to meet his girlfriend.
Police contacted the man’s family shortly afterward, treating the matter as “a personal issue”.

There's an odd state when you're freezing to death where your body loses control of vasoconstriction. Instead of trapping all your warm blood in the core of your body, it releases it to your (freezing) extremities, resulting in an apparent sense of warmth and relief . . . shortly before you die from hypothermia.
