I finished that game one year ago in Hard but my best Impossible run is 3 bosses :/ but one of six hidden items is missing, I don't undestand how I can make a great jump with both chesterfields :(

I finished this game long time ago, was pretty fun :3. If you like randomness, you will be served with this game ^^.
The real tragedy lies in the fact that you CAN defeat the evil save point at the end and use it afterwords - directly before the final boss. The entire elevator sequence can be avoided.

Also, if anyone enjoys the suffering of others, I would recommend looking up videos of Kaizo Mario World (AKA Asshole Mario). It's far more difficult than I Wanna Be The Guy.

It was written with game creation software that is Windows only. It can't be ported, but it could be run with wine.
Personally I prefer Cloud8745's COMPLETE playthrough video of the game on YouTube. They have since been deleted by the original creator and re-uploaded by someone else, but the name Cloud8745 should still be a valid search term for them. Knock yourselves out.

Ugh, I played this until the part where you have to do wall jumping. The wall jump mechanic is so unintuitive that I just couldn't get it down.
Not nearly as terrible a game as The Cheetahmen II, though.
He was so happy when he beat his father but then when he dies it goes completly silent I think he died for real.

"hard mode" is more like medium...medium does everything it can to make you feel like a pussy for playing it at that difficulty...except actually like, making the platforming any easier.

I've watched this series since the beginning... This guy's spent 14 parts so far including multipart episodes at about 30 minutes each... And that's only when he makes some progress. Some of the traps were just evil (like the error in Ep 12 part 1). This guy is totally hard core.
Feels like there's only one more part after this- can't wait.
You could just play the game. I went and played through it after seeing one of his early videos. It's actually not that difficult on the easiest setting. There is a save point in every other room.

It's like a Lvl. 6-1 of Ninja Gaiden that never ends...
Try Ninja Gaiden 2 for the 360 on the Mentor or Master Ninja(near impossible) difficulty and you'll see what insane really is.
I'm not much of a gamer, but I have played the NES one before. I thought it was supposed the hardest one, from an age before game difficulty started being dumbed down, etc. ?
NES one is pretty hard but look at the comments for NG2 for the 360, for either of the higher difficulties it's insane.

No, that's just what the final boss's 2nd form does when it appears. Not the end, just one of the many trial-and-error cheap kills the game throws at you.
To play the devil's advocate here, with everything that game has thrown at you, that was one of the slowest warnings it has ever issued.

The best part is he had to cut out FOUR DAYS of trying to kill the boss. Masochist indeed.

Touhou is hard, but it's not nearly as sadistic as this game is.
IWBtG tries its hardest to leave you a quivering paranoid blob of jelly with a phobia of apples.
Touhou allows you to bomb very quickly when you sense you've made a mistake and recover from it without losing anything. This on the other hand is pretty much you do it right, or you don't do it at all.
