Haruhi Cosplays Kaori Kanzaki

Denizens of 2ch, noticing a resemblance between Haruhi Suzumiya with her newer, long-tressed hairstyle, and Kaori Kanzaki of To Aru Majutsu no Index, took it upon themselves to slightly modify Haruhi’s appearance in a recent magazine article to better illustrate their observation.
The result, above, is quite impressive, unsurprising given the recent quality of Vipper Photoshop mastery.

The anonymous denizens of 2ch are known as "Vippers", and provide us with a never ending flood of new content, for which we are ever grateful.
This is not correct.
2ch is actually a huge constellation of different servers, each hosting certain boards. Many of the boards, and even the servers, have unique cultures and memes associated with them.
One of these is the "VIP" board, and its denizens are called "Vippers" - they have a very unique culture indeed...

I summarized too much I fear, since the elements of 2ch we deal with in our culture is disproportionately made up of Vippers and not the "Cooking", "School Life" or the endless other boards, and I wanted to keep it simple. ^^;
A similar phenomenon might be how 4channers often are called /b/tards or "guys from /a/", even if that's inaccurate, strictly speaking...
hmm that's interesting. One of you guys should do an article describing the different boards and servers or just an article on 2ch and the other anonymous boards describing them.
