A 28 year old Russian man, challenged to a bet that he could not perform for a 12 hour tryst with two women, turned to downing a bottle of Viagra to aid his stamina. The result: minutes after successfully winning the wager, he dropped dead from a sudden heart attack.
The man, Sergei Tuganov, a mechanic by trade, had apparently bet the equivalent of $4,300 with one of the women involved that he would not be able to attend to the female pair’s needs for a continuous 12 hours.
Taking the challenge to heart (as many men would likely do), he accepted the offer, relying on ingesting a copious amount of the sex drug Viagra to complete the challenge.
Mere minutes after completing the challenge, he collapsed, and was later pronounced dead, according to Moscow police.
One of the two women, known only as Alina, declared “We called emergency services but it was too late, there was nothing they could do.”
Viagra, officially used for the purpose of treating a mysteriously common ailment called “erectile dysfunction”, is known to have a variety of interesting side effects, including visual impairments, hearing loss, priapism (a condition where an erection can continue indefinitely, potentially resulting in gangrene and requiring amputation), and stroke.
