Eroge gamer Nagato Yuki can be seen singing the catchy Ga-rei Zero OP, Paradise Lost, in the new episode 6 of Haruhi-chan.
Fans with in-depth seiyuu knowledge will immediately get the joke – 茅原実里 / Minori Chihara voiced both Nagato and Ga-rei’s main character Kagura Tsuchimiya, as well as singing the show’s OP.

but yet.. after I watched Bunny-eared Nagato sing, I was kinda like "Oh! I know that song!" and I even can humm the lyrics...
then I went back here and found out it was from an anime... I haven't seen Ga-Rei Zero, and I haven't also seen it's OP
my question is.. are there MADs that used this song? coz it's bugging me that I know the song, but I didn't know it was from this anime...

it wasn't from a MAD, it was from Steno's blog (Maskawaih.com), he has that iMeem widget that plays this song... so that's why it was so familiar with me...
There must be some videos out there using the song, it was definitely well liked during the show's run...

This makes me more and more interested in checking out Gai-Rei Zero...
I LOL'ed when I heard Otaku-Nagato singing that, and in a deliberately light-hearted tone as well. This is a good example of a seiyuu joke done well.
I personally quite like Otaku Nagato. Doesn't it make her feel much closer to the rest of us!? Haha.
After watching a couple of episodes of Ga Rei Zero and volume 1 of the manga the pun is on how the relationship and enimity between Nagato & Asakura and Kagura & Yomi are quite identical
Not sure if anyone noticed, but in the latest episode of Haruhi-Chan, episode 16, the sword that Nagato was using was Outo-Shishiou, Yomi's sword.
Did anyone download Haruhi-chan 2 and 3? I only have 1, 4, 5 and 6.
Oh, I should point out that 1-3 have been removed by Kadokawa.

I wonder if they actually plan on keeping the hand drawn style of these last two episodes, since it's a nice change from the 3D crap that the previous episodes were dealing with.
I also can't help but wonder how long these series will go on, it looks like Churuya might be over already even, judging from the lack of well, anything...
Well it depends on how much Churuya was done in the original books. I don't know if they've already got through it, though I don't think so. Churuya's vids actually seemed to get more hit than the Haruhi-chan ones, going off memory anyway.
Yuki is just too awesome.

I'm surprised the switched back to 2d from 3d animation.
I guess they figured it didn't give them enough freedom?

Personal experience (admittedly limited to flash) is that it's actually much harder to deal with 3D characters. They may have been driven by cost.
These Haruhi-chan episodes are getting better. I laughed my ass off on episode 6.
They certainly are... Odd that they put the weakest first.
It's always advisable not to rush a series by making a powerful start early on or else it'll lose steam and become too redundant.

I did enjoy the latest 2 more than any of the others, also.
My only regret is that I was spoiled on the singing bit before seeing the episode (blame 2ch), but at least it made for this easy post!
