A collection of some of the most egregious examples of bad figure design and sculpting seen to date. There some truly grotesque little gargoyles amongst their number, almost impressively so.
Some of these look to have the excuse of being secondary merchandise to go with DVDs and the like, but there are plenty which are full commercial figures… Just what were they thinking?
You can contrast this with legends of hentai and ero.

One of the best reasons to beware of buying stuff online: they steal and post whatever pictures of genuine figurines from the official site, then send a Chinese fake if one foolishly orders.

The purple haired figure looked pretty fine to me at the first place.., until i noticed that she's being raped by a couple of Mokkos.....
And it looks like someone actually drew those fugly eyes on that Chi figure..
the ai enma doesn't even look like her, so poorly done. that figure is a completely horrible failure, and i wish they would burn every single one of those figures that were ever made. every hell girl addict wants the figure from alter-- why won't they make more of that instead? it's sold out practically everywhere anyway.

lol exactly what I was about to say. Funny how my brother has the original version from Clayz sitting right in his room, roughly a few days after I first saw the fugly figure pics.
I was hoping to find my figurine (supposedly) by FineScenery in here but alas. This mecha-musume figurine's face looked totally deformed from some erronous cast and I suspect I bought a cheap chinese fake for the same price. An otherwise trustworthy webshop I got many fine figures from in the past.
It's the Mig60 girl, surely someone here has it. Can I get confirmation that I bought a fake?

That's the same I got then, if you look closely you'll see how her lock of hair over her forehead just stops mid-way leaving an empty area of forehead between that floating hair and where the hat should've been.
Rather, they made the casting mold of the scalp too deep/high or something? Where was the QC manager sleeping, if there was one to begin with.
They tried to make the Enma Ai one as close to the original as possible, by actualy giving it the power to transport you to hell if you look at it for too long.
