Eva Unit 01 Watch

I would only buy this if I can rip the watch and reveal flesh inside it...
It would be a bonus if it can generate AT field :)

I rather not think about having a watch. Every watch I've ever had either gets spoiled, stolen or abused till beyond repair. I already have so many things to tell time with, like my hand phone, iPod, PSP, computer, etc. so why do I need a watch? Let alone a $260 watch.....

Oh yeah, I'm sure you can find this anywhere at some black market for really cheap.

I love Evangelion, I really do. It's just that I have no interest in this.

Now, if they made a Replica of Rin's Rideback watch, I wouldn't mind paying this price.

damn with that much money, I could buy a PsP and a Ds. Yeah id rather go with that.

I'm very dissapointed by how this looks. Seems to be mostly cheap plastic and even if it's not cheap the look and feel, as far as I can tell, is about the same as a watch you buy for a kid at a toy store for under $10.

Engraving and LED is nice but it simply can't make up for the overall feel that this is a toy and not a watch.

My G-Shock cries at being compared to this. :P

It is bulletproof, remote controls the eva hidden undergroud in NERV Japan (because we all know Japan has Gundams in their airports and Evas in their basement), and, as if this weren't enough, it toasts bread for you.

$250? Gosh! So cheap for such an overpriced luxury!

sigh...I would not spend 1/2 the money that this is listed as...why? Among the fact that many people have pointed out already, it looks cheap. Unfortunately I didn't watch the anime when I was in a position to "appreciate it", or I might be willing to pay $130 for it...but I digress...

LED display being decently cool enough, as someone else mentioned, it should be red. Also, it looks rather limited in application for a watch...my last watch had two digital clocks, alarm, date, stop watch, water resistant, and looked nice enough for under $20.

I guess I'm still a kid at heart. I think this watch is awesome. I'd buy one if I had a spare $260, for sure!

The watch display is Epic Fail because it is advertised as having a white time display screen but in actuality it has blue.

Looks like some 'made in china' product out of the gift shop of an amusement park. Plasticcy..

it almost resembles some sort of futuristic weird G-Shock kind of watch. Depending on whether the display readout glows in the dark or not I'd probably buy one too... at this point I'm on the fence, really.

This looks so freeking sweet I would get it if not for the price. The plastic strap and clasp seems similar to cheap watches, making this seem hugely overpriced.

i cant decide if ill buy this, damnit! the thing is ive paid more money for a watch that wasnt eva. is it a good watch like one of those high-tech sports watches? also where would i get from for shipping to the us or would i have to get it shipped to a friend in japan and pick it up there? hmm i could do that and come up with an excuse to visit and go see the movie. thatd be sweet!

I think the display looks pretty damn nice. If it weren't Eva (or anime, for that matter) merchandise I'd probably buy it.

Seriously, if you don't know what Evangelion is it's just gonna look like a cheap,tacky made-in-Singapore knock off of a piece of kiddy-crap made in H.K.....that was supposed to be an infommercial product but got cancelled because the CEO fled to Mexico.

The functions and the quality might be nice but it looks just a little bit too toy-like. I mean I like collectible toys I just don't like to wear them.

The build quality looks decent in my opinion but the design? Awesome display though, if they were clever they would've made an option in there to make the lighting switch to red. Something you'd expect at least but they probably haven't done.
Maybe you've caught me wearing a watch similar to this when I was 10.
