Bounty Hunter Yoko by Alter

The latest Alter figure of Gurren Lagann‘s Yoko, spotted on display at the recent Megahobby and WonHobi events, has just become available for pre-order on online shops.
This also means that a number of official photos have become available of the attractive figure, which are shown below…
The 1/8 PVC figure comes from Alter, a respectable name in the figure business if there ever was one.
Its full name is 謎の賞金稼ぎ ヨーコ・リットナー / Yoko the Mysterious Bounty Hunter, an appropriate name as it depicts Yoko as the self-idealized version of herself in the “dream world” in the 2nd to last episode of the series (I believe – I saw episodes 13-27 in one continuous sitting nearly a year ago, so my memory might be a tad off):
This certainly looks to be a quality rendition; I can only think of the facial expression as the one detail I would need to inspect further – the rest of the figure looks superb, and the face might well just look odd to me at first glance but could slowly grow on me.
Alter Bounter Hunter Yoko should become available in June, and pre-orders have started becoming available online earlier today for around ¥7,500, which is quite fair for a figure of this quality and polish.

difference boots, hmm.....
While the series sucked up BIG time (yeah okay flame me) this figure is epic! Her stature is original, the wind effect on her hair and jacket is magnificently sculpted, her garment is, as always, provocative and her guns frightful.
My only concern is, as Quen points out, her face. It doesn't seem to be exactly like it was on the show, though this does not mean that it is a bad rendition.

saw this figure before. yeah, it's very well designed, but imo, it lacks moe-ness, and the hair color doesn't seem right.
I agree on your statement about her hair.
I was thinking about a word to definite how weird it feels to me. In the country I live we usually say that a colour is not bright enough, something like you can't see it fine because there's not enough light. Still, giving it a second glance, i guess i could say her hair is "dusty". Word that seems to fit, considering also the world they live in and the jacket she wears. Maybe i'm just reading too much in it, who knows.
If you want moe go with Nia, Yoko has always been about sexy curves and dynamite body.
This is why I never have liked Yoko. Sure she's nice and a main character and everything but I honestly never could like her.
And it doesn't help that there are about 200 different Yoko figs, while there's virtually no Nia ones. It seems like there's a new Yoko coming out about every week too.
