Fans quickly noted the increase in production values.
It’s not clear whether this quality will be finding its way into the DVD edition. It’s also not the first time they have opted to save themselves a spot of this whole silly animation business.
Be thankful they thought of this before Kadokawa did…

I couldn't stand the anime from episode 1 because of poor production values. This pretty much is the coup de grace.
Just like a video game, its success depends solely on the visuals, right? It's the law of the land, and nothing or no one will EVER fucking change that. Ever.
Why the hate for this show? It has a low budget and the concept is silly, but the show is consistently funny and quotable.

In case it isn't obvious, this is simply because it's a 12-episode series in a 13-episode time slot, so rather than be done a week early, they put this in instead. Most other 12-episode shows started a week later due to the New Year's Holidays, so don't have this issue. They could have just ended the run a week early, but threw this in to fill the time (since they already paid for it). There was never going to be 13 episodes anyway, so it's not like they replaced a planned episode with this or something (or "abandoned anime").
As usual, the truth is many times more mundane than the headline. (Though the ability to make a story out of anything, no matter how otherwise irrelevant, is perhaps something to be feared.)
Not anime airing in an anime timeslot. Normally an anime does not insert this kind of thing into their run. The anime in question already has a reputation. It is hard to see how this is not noteworthy as such.
Well, I guess it was either that or a clip show (which many shows have done in their run). It's more the fact that, as usual, there's actually a perfectly logical mundane explanation for this that was conveniently excised... ^^;

I've been following (not to mention buying) the anime's she (Mamiko Noto) had voiced that characters in before, so to say that her voice atracts me to watch the anime whether its an epic fail or not.
But the again, to have this episode 6.5 aired.....That means ep.7 may be cancelled or redrawn completely as to make up for the epic drawing failures......What I do hope is that it does not stop airing.
