Notorious Nico Gay Porn Sensation Comes to Japan

billy_herrington

Billy Herrington, better known as “Aniki” (Big Brother) or “The Forest Fairy” to millions of NicoNico Douga viewers, has arrived in Japan to take part in a Saturday event in Akihabara hosted by Good Smile Company and Nico to promote Figma and Nendoroid figures.

Herrington, a former American gay porn star (he himself is bisexual) active in the 1990s, noted for his superb physique, is famed for being part of a Nico meme that began when a clip of one of his works (“GachiMuchi Wrestling”) was uploaded to the site, and has since been inserted into many a Nico video for comedic effect.

A short video of him greeting his Japanese fans has been made, and is viewable below, along with some of his other works…

A famous scene from “GachiMuchi Wrestling”:

One of his typical uses is being inserted into otherwise unrelated videos with enticing thumbnails, hence his notoriety. Most Nico-goers seem to regard him favorably, however. His admittedly (probably unintentionally) highly amusing videos and impressively athletic physique probably help…

His closing address, 歪みねな!/ “yugami ne na!”, roughly translates as “Don’t be twisted / distorted!”, to which the typical response seems to be “Don’t be twisted!”, or “Aieee!”

He is obviously aware of his unexpected Internet popularity in Japan, and seems quite unperturbed by it all.

What exactly Big Brother is expected to do or discuss at the event is unclear, as the Nico Anime Channel website promoting the event only mentions “Billy Herrington Coming-to-Japan Commemorative Figma Talk Show”.

Presumably he will be there for the sheer novelty factor of attendees being able to meet the gaijin Internet meme in person, but some online even go so far as to discuss the possibility of an official Figma of the Forest Fairy himself being announced.

The event will take place at the Akihabara UDX building on Feb. 14th, details are available at the official website.

The UDX building may sound familiar, as it will also be the location of the upcoming Macross anniversary event on the 22nd, which will feature the official Ranka and Sheryl ero-dakimakura previously covered here.
