megruine and other vocaloid artwork looks great and all but i don't know why people say this song is good. the Hatsune Miku aren't really good either. would not listen to them at all. then again, i don't really know how this vocaloid thing works.

If you pause right at the end of the video where Luka starts fading out, all the other vocaloids will fade in.

In Flash, if you make something a MovieClip, it will continue to play even if the movie stops. I assume the creator did that, then exported as an flv so the MovieClips would loop even outside of an swf player.
nm's are uploaded/made with nico movie maker, which allows certain flash elements to exist (the basic usage is to create higher quality slideshow type videos, it also creates smaller files, since instead of having a different image for every frame, it can just call a single frame for the period of time it is shown).
because of this, the root files for nm are swf, instead of the usual flv or mp4, which is why a lot of nico videos are showing up on flash boards now.

As a few commenter on Nico already noticed, that effect is probably due to it being an SWF... also, the creator must have intended this behavior, as Kaito only walks in (at least for me) if you pause while the muscle dude is in the background...
It's odd, Miku walked in when I paused it, but yes, if you do not pause it, it seems no one walks through.
The muscle guy in the background keeps doing some funky moves as well while paused...

Actually, if you pause it when the pink muscle dude walks in, you'll see him moving too. After him comes Kaito walking in.
