Clannad fans have had the roots of their faith in the much vaunted integrity of the title’s narrative shaken, after observations revealed a continuity error of the most egregious sort between the two seasons.
As you can see here, the Furukawa household’s stairway, on the left and from episode three of the first season, has no banister. Episode 17 does.
Fans have difficulty explaining this away, save by invoking mysterious redecorations.
It’s not the first time we’ve seen such shocking disregard for quality in a top anime, but this hardly excuses such slovenliness.
maybe they had one installed.
Did you people stop and think that maybe the handrail was ADDED on?
how can they put their heart into it … when you get paid about 2$ an hours???
It’s only discontinuity if they remove it again without explanation.
