Toradora Ending

Tsundere light novel series Toradora! is confirmed as concluding in the tenth volume, to be released March; this is thought to coincide neatly with the ending of the anime, for an ending many are already praising for its discipline in refraining from becoming a long and drawn out franchise more interested in merchandising than in coherent narrative.
Of course whether the ending will be any good or not is another matter…
As the anime has reached volume seven of the light novel series, this leaves three volumes to be covered in six episodes, which seems unambiguously to leave no room for a second season or otherwise (unless rather flagrant liberties were taken with the plot).
In fact the anime attracted attention from the start for the rate at which it consumed the original work; in retrospect it would appear this was a deliberate choice based on coordination between the production staff and the author, an arrangement some might like to see more often.
Many fans seem quite satisfied that both works have taken the decision to end cleanly and with finality, though there is the expectation of spin-off works. What will become of the manga edition, or how the game will fit in, is not clear.

Toradora is a great anime would really love to see a season 2 of it if possible.
We all knew it would end with ryuugi and taiga getting together. But since the main characters already had a crush and didn't have any previous relation, I thing the question was seeing HOW. That's how I see it, anyway

Atleast he realizes that he's done with the series and doesn't want to drag it out like School Rumble or god knows how many others. Here is to hoping that it has a great ending and the anime as well. Now I want the anime and novels licensed in the US.

spoiler: Ryuuji ran away with Taiga after a fight with his mother. Minorin who had liked Ryuuji, let him go as she knew Taiga like him more. Ami meanwhile was in despair as she also like him but had problem of her own.

Coordinated endings are fantastic. Worked really well for Honey and Clover as well as Aria. Good to get closure.

Yeah, Ryuiji x Taiga ending seems inevitable, but I'm happy with it. They liked Ami and Kitamura based on crushes and tried to hook up, not like in other anime where the leads have some kind of past history together. They slowly realize they fit best together and care for one another.

Hmmm, 3 vol in 6 episode. Well, they covered vol 6 in 2 episode by hacking out most of Ami's contributes so as long as they include Ami's bout with Minori I'll be happy. Ganbare Ryuuji!!!
This is why coordinated endings are good. Douchebags who find it amusing to spoil without putting some type of aforementioned warning won't be able to spoil the ending, as it does not yet exist.
But personally, as long as Ryuuji gets with one of the girls, it's a good end in my book. All three are good characters, it wouldn't be like Ichigo 100% where I raged over the "wrong" girl being picked.

i'm hoping it's not taiga. i like her and all, but i know people who refused to watch this series because they just went "meh, ryuuji and taiga will get together at the end so blablabla do not want"

TBH, I think its going to end with Ryuuji and Taiga but i'd prefer Ami and Ryuuji since Ami hasn't had much screen time lately.
When I started watching, I badly hoped the two main characters weren't gonna wind up together, because there needs to be more series where two people are great friends AND wind up with the other people they really fancied, even though they may have a few feelings for eachother.
I'm not up to date on the episodes, but I've sadly accepted that it's not at all unlikely Taiga and Ryuuji will hook up together ;_;

But I don't know, it really grew on me,
I really wouldn't mind a Ryuji/Taiga ending that much.
