Spice and Wolf Second Season Due Summer

Sage Horo’s return has finally been dated to the summer; as we saw previously, the new season follows developments in the light novel source, and will feature slightly revised character designs.
It practically goes without saying that the same seiyuu will feature.
In the mean time, fans will be wanting to see her in unprecedented quality in the Blu-ray edition, or simply to salivate over her fine human form.

One of the best anime series from 2008 have a sequel. Excellent. I will look forward to this.
I happened to find this series somewhere, watched it, and liked. One of the best indeed! I was so hoping for a sequel (knowing of a good base for that, the novels) for months. Now it's true! One of the happiest moments for me with anime so far. ^^ I just hope they kept the feel of it even after switching eg. the director.
Cool, but err..... I liked Chizuru Minamoto more than Horo. Sorry about that.....
Horo's a wolf; Chizuru is a fox. They're not the same sort of creature.
indeed she does call herself a wolf but im stil in doubt cuz in her true form she looks awfully like a fox to me,also take into account that she has fox ears..........such confusion........maybe she's a fox on a lighter color of fur......albino maybe?

Those who disgrade Spice and Wolf, please leave this site. Spice and Wolf is one of the most appealing and magnificent anime in the world. Of course it is opinion based, but if you dont like the anime, then you dont appreciate anime at all.

Ive noticed the insults at the start and then all the comments were all biased opinions on how good wolf and spice was. my honest opinion is i cant wait for it to be released because i enjoyed the developing romance a mortal has to a goddess. and at least she holds up to her morals and dont change into some emo like char who is indecisive like most anime. horo knows what she wants and id say so far shes lived up to her role to portray that strongly. Lawrence gives off a more kind vibe which only cares for those in need as well as being able to look after his own back to an extent.
watched the first season but felt it was lacking in story and actual oomph between them. Hopefully the 2nd season will have more bite.
the fact of Horo being a virgin was never stated in the novel series, but there are hints that she isn't with information like Lawrence isn't her first 'men' she been with. And the series don't reuse characters beside the two of them in each story. =P
I started watching for Horo, but I really got into the story. It's refreshing to have an anime series about a guy my own age, instead of school kids!

I appreciate this series. Although it takes quite a while to absorb it, it is something that would be liked when you get the patience and the right time to watch it all the way through.
