Hidden otaku and occasional service anime Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu is set to receive a second series, something of a surprise given how restrained the reaction to this title appears to have been.
Restrained the reaction may have been, but fans still happily bought up the DVD in quantity (it outsold Zero no Tsukaima III), albeit quietly. And Haruka herself proved most popular in character polls…
The seiyuu from the first series will reprise their roles.
Nogizaka Haruka no pantsu in high resolution.
Anyone who will admit to watching it will surely be happy about this.

I can't see why I've heard a lot of people say this anime wasn't very good. It seems perfectly fine to me, but i would've preferred if Kyohaku Dogs was made into an anime instead. That one volume that was released was just amazing. Although, there isn't a a single difference in the cuteness of the female leads in either series. So that makes everything better, plus the addition of more cute female characters in HnH.
I have watched season 1 and love it. When I heard season is coming out I was jumping up and down.

HnH good and fun SOL anime, TNL wishy washy ecchi that can't make up its mind plot or service.
So over all HnH is better but TNZ more fun.
I couldn't bear watching more than one episode of the first season. Haruka and her generic moe antics("Dai pinchu!") were incredibly annoying, jokes weren't that good and the male-lead was pretty uninspiring too.
I can't see how second season could be much better.
I feel bad for you since you only watched the first episode. Great way to make a constructive argument when you have not even watched more than one episode. Even when people who watched 2 or 3 episode then says it bad is somewhat annoying but you are unique.

I would take a moe over an annoying bitch who resorts to violence every time she gets mad or is jealous (like most anime chicks) any time of the day.

The dude's right, I personally tried to watch it all the way through. When an anime gets so uninteresting to the point where you have to force yourself to watch the next episode, you know somethings wrong.
I found the characters and their design to be incredibly generic and boring. The gimmick got old around ep 3. Actually the plot wasnt too interesting to begin with.
Judging stuff based on first episode is normal if you want to at least check out most of the season's shows. I see no reason to watch even half of the show if first episode was uninteresting.
But alright, I'll give you a benefit of doubt and watch the second episode too. If that's as bad as first one, I'll just give up on this.

Great, though not a spectacular show it is fun to watch. Not to mention the Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan (hope I spelled that right..) parody/cosplay in one of the episodes was awesome :)

I only watched this series because of that damn haruka. too fukin cute for her own good.
I don't think HnH is an overall better series than ZnT, however due to the decline on quality and raise of ecchiness and lack of plot of the ZnT, there is no reason on why it wouldn't have been overtaken by Haruka.
I just hope it doesn't follow on the steps of ZnT, and maintains the quality of the first series.

Only the first season of ZnT was any good. It has seriously gone down in quality with each subsequent season.
Nah. ZnT was always a pile of shit, as it was always a poorly made anime that couldn't sustain a plot without using a zillion of cliches, and it was aimed at masochists.
And I'm not saying this just because people are comparing ZnT to NHnH, as I'm not a fan of the later series either (I have yet to watch it, so I don't know if I would like it). No, I'm saying this because I found ZnT to be pure garbage from the start.
DUDE, STFU Znt was awsome, its just that season 3 messed up at the end. U shouldn't diss good anime >:(

I thought it was decent. Although the ending was the cheesiest cheese of all cheesy cheeses. Oh wait . . . all anime are like that.

Nogizaka Haruka was definitely a surprise. One of those anime you think would fall into every anime cliche (weak male lead, harem, loli little sister) but didn't. I just hope that the second season can stay true to this philosophy and still manage to avoid the cliches.
