The Minami-ke Okaeri OP and ED songs, Keikenchi Soku Joujou and Zettai Karafuru Sengen debuted today, placing 8# and 10# respectively on the Oricon Daily Music charts.
The appearance of anison (anime songs) on the music charts is not that uncommon, but as both singles are sung by the Minami trio‘s seiyuu and previously only heard on the three episodes broadcast so far, it follows that the CD’s popularity is made up nearly entirely by fans of the show.
You can hear both songs below:
経験値速上々↑↑ / Keikenchi Soku Joujou↑↑
The title very roughly translates to something like “The value of experience’s speed is the greatest↑↑”.
絶対カラフル宣言 / Zettai Karafuru Sengen (Absolute Colorful Declaration)
The singers for both songs are Rina Satou (Haruka Minami), Marina Inoue (Kana Minami) and Minori Chihara (Chiaki Minami).
Both singles are available on Amazon (OP and ED) for ¥1,200.
Via Oricon.

In the 3rd season ED song, when the music drops out and all you hear is the piano(?) riff, it reminds me of the very ending of Crystalis for the NES. When the tower's sinking to the ground in the horizon.
I really don't expect anyone else to back me up on that.
the op and ed theme for season 1 pwns all attempts of the other seasons -___-
The OP was kind of blah to me, but the ED was good. I'm sure I could grow to like both given enough repetition. They don't seem to stick out that much though, and it makes me doubt the high marks on the charts will remain for very long.
They're catchy and much better than Okawari's, but they're basically copy-pasted from the S1 themes (and not just the "experience" and "color" leitmotifs). Still, I like Zettai Colorful Sengen better than Colorful Days.
3rd season's OP and ED are good but not great. 1st season OP and ED = pure win.
Openings are so misleading of quality, apparently...
IMO, compared to the 2nd series OP, this one looks well and I think they should stay on a cheerful music the same with the first series.
For the EP, I love the way they made them dance...they all look cute.
I personally liked the OP from the first two seasons better.
These songs are incredible, the best of the series. I find the 3rd season itself only mildly entertaining so far. Yeah, the art isn't that great, but it's pretty much the same Minami-ke as ever.
経験値速上々<--- i thought that means something literally like "Speed of exp gathering increasing"
that's pretty much how it was interpreted/translated in the episodes i saw subbed.
as for the op/ed, they're not the best. but comparing all the op/ed's of this season, they're actually up there.
It's hard to get into English without being total gibberish. Word for word it's:
Experience - value(of experience) - speed - fantastic, the best
I think both of them are quite catchy, just like the OP/ED of the original season. I remember not being impressed with the OP/ED of the 2nd season though.
op/ed of second season are fail. this op/ed and first seasons op/ed are win.
There was a 2nd season? I thought season 2 was airing now.
Not bad songs, but not that great.
Screw you. Both are awesome.
And I like how none of you are going "Hurr Durr the art and animation is horrid" anymore.
I wasnt even watching the video, i was actually waiting for my copy of kurokami's op to download while listening to this, and it tottally just blended in with background noise, which rarly happans to me cause i sing along to most songs
Even though i dont know the words, or if i hate this song :P
No one is saying it anymore because it's just beating a dead horse, the animation and art is pretty fucking awful, we're coping with it.
First OP and ED was really something.
I agree fully! The OP and ED of the first season were great!
These are only mediocre in comparison.
No not really they both are very mediocre.
Ugh. The songs are typical forgettable anime fare, not to mention the 3rd season animation is crap. The characters just look harelipped, trying to emulate the teardrop mouths of the first season.
/trolllll
wow, kinda surprised about this, they both sound like average anime songs to me, but this is japan we're talking about, the land of weirdness
awesomenessness
love both songs
