The still-growing Vocaloid ensemble of Miku and company is shown in this new video dancing to the Keroro Gunsou ED song, “Kurutto, Mawatte, Ikkaiten” in an update (or rather, response) to the highly popular stop-motion original.
The 3DCG characters resemble slightly evil-looking Nendoroid versions of themselves, and a dancing Nendo skeleton is involved for some reason, so it makes for odd viewing…
I still prefer the original stop-motion video, shown below…

Older one is very very 3D. D:
Needs more Luka
I like the original one as well, but this one has it own cuteness to it. With that, I like 'em both.
Original is better, I agree, though...I think I like the finale of the new video better...well, when Miku falls anyways, everything else i prefer original better though.
that looks like they used the miku-dancer head on a smaller body...
Original is better xD
Top one is dead already. Youtube seems to be on a bit of a rampage lately...
They both work for me.
Both work for me too
The original is better, especially because of the end part
Heh, this reminded me of the iphone/ipod touch app demo where theres plenty of mikus dancing to that leek song
I'd love to see a version of this for iPod Touch, I've got the leekspin Miku app and that's really cute.
the original was way better, but i don't see any stop motion, that was clearly 3d, and INCREDIBLE cute
Yup, the original is better for me. The new one seems less amusing when compared to the previous one.
the stop motion is is better to me too!
the vocaloid in the newer one seem a bit odd and zombish(zombies)
Prefer the stop motion one. And it had a clip with Karamelldansen in the end :D
Mer Karamelldansen till alla!
Yes, älskar vi inte alla Karamelldansen! ;)
Was the original really stop motion?
It's more like professional-grade textured pre-rendered CG, versus the new version cell-style shading.
But anyway...I agree...the style and animation in the orig looks much more fitting (read: cuter). The char style in the new one looks...Odd...
I believe the stop motion assumption could prehaps be the use of the original nendroid designs as models.
cg clay render from something like mental ray... it's not stop motion.
Its not stop motion is it?
Right, I just couldn't think of what else to call it is all.
Call it "the not ugly version."
Good idea, I should've thought of that.
haha omg the original rox!!!! its sooo cute..
I can´t see the first one. Any way, the original is obviously 3D
Yep, I also love the original 3D animation... made me addicted to Nendoroids.
The 2D one, ok, but doesn't really come close to the original...
Actually, the 2nd video is 3DCG animation and not stop-motion animation...
I think the animator who made the original video used the open source 3D render software, Blender 3D
Correct me if I'm wrong ^^;;
