Spectacular 2D vs 3D moe imagery in this fine work by S. Zenith Lee. It is especially interesting to see what slight liberties he has taken in rendering it into 2D.
Certainly one of the best efforts we have seen in this genre; let us hope for more.

Here are the differences I see in the 2D. Blue girl's eyes are larger, her body is thinner and slightly more "womanly", her side under her left shoulder is partially bare. Pink girl has her hand draped on Blue girl's shoulder in a more sensuous slightly erotic fashion, and her smile and closed eyes are similarly somewhat more yuri-suggestive than the 3D version, plus her midriff is bare and she appears to be wearing nothing but a thong below.

Chose 3D because it was already perfect; 2D is very well made, but in this case 3D, with all its imperfections, appealed to me more than the thinness of the 2D renditions.

Agreed. I generally favour 2D due to the style omitting mild to major imperfections in the source, but in this case the drawn characterisations strike me as kind of generic.
Plus the originals are just impossibly cute this time. I realise it's totally subjective and not explicitly stated, not every decision poll is 'would you hit it?'.
