A gallery of images with a focus on the bottom half of one of the most important elements of modern Japanese visual art, the oppai or breasts.
Shitapai, a combination of “shita”, “under”, and “oppai”, “boob”, refers to typically low angle views which encompass the underside of the female breast, a form of inverse cleavage if you will. It is sometimes referred to as “underboob” in English, displaying nearly identical etymology.
It’s obviously not a matter of strict definition, but generally the upper portion of the breast is concealed from view.
