This is a likeness of Korean actress Song Hye Kyo, general idol and star of a score of Korean dramas .
The CG version is now fairly famous, having actually been done in 2006, so we might think a more recent effort could have even better results.
This was done using 3Ds MAX; you can see creator Max Edwin Wahyudi’s moderately detailed walkthrough at CG Arena.
The details of this emerged in the computer generated girl gallery, so visiting that page may be of interest if you have not already done so.
Haha oh wow.
CG nowadays are getting better and better till we can’t even know that it’s fake at first glance.
looks like the manager of samsung khan
FBH HWAITING!!
I’ve used 3Ds MAX, and it’s an awesome program, been working with it for 3 years now.
the hair looks kinda off because doing it in 3D eats up a lot of computer memory to render it and so the low detail, still 3Ds MAX in 2006 was still pretty top notch but the computer they used might not have been.
still a great feat by any means.
heh i already meet the person directly in indonesia when teaching a workshop. He show it how this is done!
And i must say it fairly complex, you need zbrush program and rendering technique.
and it finished after 3 month! 🙁
