Figma Saber Lily – Ultimate Figma?

The new Saber Lily Figma, bundled with the special edition of the Fate/Unlimited Codes PS2 game, quite possibly serves as the finest example of Figma craftmanship to date.
Figma are poseable figures produced by Max Factory. Normally their low price (less than ¥ 2500) and the need for articulation prevents the figures from being too elaborate, either in detail or clothing choices.
The Lily Saber Figma retains the unsightly (to some) joints, but the rest of the figure is far more impressive than the norm for Figma, perhaps due to the limited-edition nature of the Lily Saber as compared to normal mass-produced Figma.
Without a doubt, Saber’s sword is the most impressive Figma accessory to date.
The detailing on the face is also beyond what is normally expected from a Figma product.
Saber comes with two different sets of faces and frontal hair pieces, the above photo shows both alternate pieces swapped in.
The removability of the face and hair necessitates this large seam, of course.

The SP edition of Fate/Unlimited Codes is pricey at upwards of ¥8,000. International customers can easily purchase one at Play Asia for an even more expensive $129.90, but be warned that there is only a Japan PS2 version being made, so proper modding would be required on foreign systems to play the game.
That is, of course, only a problem if you are buying the game to actually play it, instead of for the fine Saber Lily Figma bundled with it…

I pre-ordered this on the first day Play-Asia started taking pre-orders. I received the box on Monday and was not disapointed. Normal Saber figma is awesome too but this one is even better. I hope the scaled PVC figure will be as nice.
Oh, and the game is good too if you like fighting games, which I do. I play it using a Swap Magic disk, normally used for pirate games but it's just as good for import.
i already see the pvc figure from good smile company and it's a must have for saber or type-moon lover ^^

I ordered the Limited Edition from Play-Asia and got it before Christmas. Unfortuantely, the left arm was not in the shoulder and the hole wasn't big enough to insert it. I had to rasp the joint and finally it fitted. Fortunately, the arm is now working without problems and I also have toy say the figure is really very detailed and wonderfully sculpted. The game is also good, by the way^^.
My goodness... I'm not really a fan of Saber, but I do like Figma's figurines especially Nanoha and Fate. But this Saber kick ass. Bah~~ If is ebay, perhaps is even more expansive than getting it from Play-Asia
....kinda wish they produced figmas of Ilya and Rider too.
Great. Not only do I already have regular Saber (and wish she was more posable), but to get this, I'm gonna have to import a vijya game that likely costs as much as three haruhi figs I plan on getting.
It's certainly on my "DO WANT!" list, but my limited money and its acessabilty will keep me from buying in the near future. Or I could knock over a 7-11 if I'm ever in Japan.

To EXpensive for me now...If ever theres still stock over the 50,000 sold product worldwide might get it when the budget is not as tight.

the pics of this masterpiece have been wandering the tubes for around 2 months now...
The game was released less than 2 weeks ago and the Neko ni Koban review photos are among the first detailed photos of the figure taken by an end-consumer and not preview or publicity photos released by the companies involved in the sale of the figure/game.
As we had not shown any of the publicity images previously, this was a good opportunity to highlight this figure.
These were published yesterday, what is your point?
