The game was sort of fun, but the story was fucking near retarded and went on and on...

Really was no god damn reason for the giant size either, even with a lot of voiced stuff..

not worth it. I mean why would you buy 50 copies with 5000 USD rather than buying 1 copy and buy out HobbySearch with what`s left. But then again as you mentioned, he must have another priority rather than building the tower... Building two towers ?

Any decent engineer or programmer in Tokyo should be able to manage at least 5-6 million yen per annum...

I don't know about japan, but america's IT field was hit hard by the recession, most large companies shaved their IT dept in half, if not worse, it's also one of the hardest fields to get into in the current economy.

Mind you, in a year or so it'll recover and that'll change, but.. yea.

I don't know about engineers, but programmers get a lot less than that, around 2 to 3 mil annually. To be precise, domestic companies pay shit for programming, some foreign companies pay a lot better. Bandai Namco pays shit for the work their programmers produce. Bottom line, Japan lacks programmer work force. They are offering prison inmates a chance to take programming classes, that's how bad the situation is.

Sadly, this is true only of yourself, as I suspect conversations with people actually working in the IT recruitment business in Tokyo are rather more informative than your pathetic vitriol.

Go and look around some company recruitment websites if you still don't realise what a fool you make of yourself.

Eh, I just didn't see the point in telling that i got allof this from a programmer living in Japan, something I obviously can't prove, but then again you can't either. *I* know you're bullshitting, and that's really all that matters.

You really know nothing, then. Embellishing your worthless story hardly improves its credibility. The briefest of searches will tell you that even a fresh graduate can expect more than 3 million, and add some years on and that sum will double.

Dead topic? Sure. But I'll just point out that you are both missing the point.
Software engineer will earn more than your average programmer simply because engineers end up being managers whereas programmers will end up being their slave labour team.

Artefact's right. Depending on where you work (and your qualifications), you could make that much.

I go to an engineering university, where lecturers here are veterans in the field. They're my sources. I'd believe them more than I believe someone random on the net.

I'm not taking computer engineering, btw.

2-3 million might get you a janitor. I know from speaking to people who actually do IT hiring. IT work is extremely lucrative in Japan, as elsewhere.

He bought them all from different retailers so I doubt he got a good discount. Besides, if he was in the trade he would get them wholesale?
