The Touhou Project, nominally a doujin shooting game series but now almost more known for the doujin works that have sprung up about its massive female cast, will soon be receiving a doujin series of Super Deformed (SD) keychains including the likes of Remilia, Yukari, and Suika.
The doujin keychains are produced by group Neta Gugenka Iinkai, who were unable to get into Comiket 75 and so are only selling these via mail-order via their website until the next Hobby Complex on May 6, 2009.
In case one might be concerned with what ZUN, the creator of the Touhou doujin franchise might have to say about these keychains following his recent complaints about the commercialization of Touhou, there is no need to worry as the following disclaimer is given on Neta’s website:
We have received permission from creator of the original source material, Shanghai Alice’s ZUN for the manufacture and sale of this item.

thx
Where’s Reimu?
Already released with Marisa and Sakuya long time ago. Check out at paletweb.com
this,,, I want it…
All sorts of toys, but no anime.
And unless ZUN sells the franchise for beer money, that’s the way it’ll remain (thankfully).
There wouldn’t be a need to worry to begin with if that article about ZUN wasn’t so bad.

Wait wait wait, I think you’re getting cause and effect confused.
Look, I really like both Artefact’s and Zepy’s very different sites, but honestly speaking they do not have any significant influence over what ZUN chooses to do. They run fan sites, so therefore their role is to _react_ to ZUN, not the other way around. No matter how good or bad you may believe the article to be, the article cannot become a “need to worry” over ZUN’s actions because fan articles are an _effect_, not a _cause_.
Plus, the English-speaking fans are a tiny fraction of the Touhou market, so what goes on on this site or the other site doesn’t mean much anyway. ;p
Take up your pro-ZUN crusade over there if you disagree so badly.
