guro bird haet raep

gurobird vs hawk

This quite grotesque image is rather compelling; the question is, is it genuine?

It seems plausible a bird could survive this briefly, but looking at the details of the picture reveals definite ambiguity. Are the feathers missing, or has the bird moved?

I think the heart of the issue is actually; why did the falcon leave?

My bet is that the scenerio played out a bit like so: "Oh sweet, a gull. Haha, tearing off your head, bitch, this is going to be delic- wait wait holy shit ZOMBIES, NO ONE TOLD ME 'BOUT FUCKIN' ZOMBIES. HO FUCK YOU GUYS ARE ON YOUR OWN."

Not incidentally, the anyone else think the gull is looking around as if to say "haters gon' hate"?

Most likely shopped. No blood to the brain. I don't know if bird brains can surive any longer than the human brain but it would hurt a lot no? Doubt the bird could just stand up and look around like that.

i think its shopped but you cant go by the "well a human cant do it" standards. cause a turtle can still move with its head chopped off for days. but i dont thing a bird can move like that looking like that.

Actually, a chicken survived for months without a head: I read that in the Guiness World Records Museum.

Yes, but from the looks of it all the muscle and connective tissues in the 'photo' are gone... so there is no way for it to hold the fully intact head up, it would not have the ability with the muscles gone. Plus it should be bleeding all over.

wen falcons attack they strip at the prey... blood vessels could have been ruptured if it attacked at its neck and it would have bled out

shopped. if you look closely at the last two pics, there are suspicious pixels around the head, the rest are smooth

well, look at the wingtips in 2-5, same kind of artifact.
In any case, it is probably real, birds do not respond in the same way as humans to injury. For one their brains don't need as much blood, so they don't bleed all that much from neck injuries.

I'm not an expert on bird anatomy, but there doesn't seem to be enough neck present to be compatible with life. A bird doesn't live on its spine alone.
That's how it appears in the pictures, at least.
So I'd say it's shopped, but why would you bother to shop such a picture?

Some one photo shopped it or manually balanced its head, after chasing off the hawk. I think the bird is already dead.

Predatory birds will literally gut or decapitate their prey.

Likely a trained predatory bird here.
The pictures at the bottom image 7 and 8 - are pictures from before the gull was attacked.

IMO image 6 would be before image 1. Since the predatory bird likely hit him for a stun, then landed and ripped the it's throat.

That and the neck isn't showing room for the gull to have an actual throat. It looks like bone and muscle with no in-between.

My great-grandmother told me that a chicken sometimes runs away after you decapitated it. It runs just a few seconds, but that's enough to take those pics. But I think this special one is shopped cuz the neck seems too long.

Hate to break it to ya, but it's more akin to an epileptic fit than running, the body spazzes out and is a rather grotesque sight to behold when you haven't cut the head clean off.

Agreed that it's a shop, doesn't look like enough neck to breathe with or hold the head up, and the idea that a hawk didn't actually eat the bird seems unnatural.

You need to google Mike the headless chicken.

He lived on for another 18 months without a head.
Birds don't need brain to survive, only the stem. And the hole is enough to breathe.

The bird in this pic is way better off than Mike, who could preen and crow without any head at all. (though the crowing sounded more like gurgling.)

According to the misinformed comments, you mean.

Read the comments of the people who know what they're talking about, and you'll get a different opinion.

Particularly all the people mentioning Mike. (A chicken who lived on without a head for over a year, and is in the Guiness book.)

then what is this site about? the title says "anime, manga and games, observed from japan" and the about page clearly talks about japanese related stuff... sure it doesn't say anything about limitations, but one wouldn't thought pictures of animals almost bleeding to death to be included...

even if it comes from 2ch still doesn't justify this post, some common sense would be nice, why don't you start posting pictures of dead people and ask if it's shopped or not?

anyway, its your site, and you are probably going to just ignore me
