guro bird haet raep

gurobirdvshawk

This quite grotesque image is rather compelling; the question is, is it genuine?

It seems plausible a bird could survive this briefly, but looking at the details of the picture reveals definite ambiguity. Are the feathers missing, or has the bird moved?

Troll Taming in Three Easy Replies.....

    Troll: This is soooooooo old.

Blogmaster: Yes it is. Care to point out anything else that's completely obvious?

Troll: I don't mind if I do! Your blog is supposed to only be about Japanese stuff - games and anime and manga, observed from Japan. This guro wildlife shit is not what I come here for.

Blogmaster: Did you not notice, then, that both birds were tussling about upon the beloved fertile fields of beautiful Japan? Thus... the images... are... "observed from Japan"....

Troll: It's still a turnoff. I hate this fucking site for doing off-topic crap like this.

Blogmaster: Would you rather I posted the pages from a certain doujin in which a particular blue-haired otaku schoolgirl masturbates frenetically over these same disturbing images?

Troll: Holy fuck! Sauce! SAUCE! Throw me a thumbnail, at least!! Post that doujin and you will be teh God of the interwebs!

So in future, I should Photoshop on 9 & 10 showing a red faced loli entering "heaven status"? Interesting...

It's so freaky watching a hawk attack a gull. Hawk did it as my school last week http://www.flickr.com/photos/killakamera/3094598534/
They sure do seem to enjoy attacking the neck.

Such "irrelevant" posts have been appearing on this site from its inception, and have always proven popular, so I'm afraid your opinion is a minority one.

Next you'll be complaining about the cat posts...

Some one photo shopped it or manually balanced its head, after chasing off the hawk. I think the bird is already dead.

I'm not an expert on bird anatomy, but there doesn't seem to be enough neck present to be compatible with life. A bird doesn't live on its spine alone.
That's how it appears in the pictures, at least.
So I'd say it's shopped, but why would you bother to shop such a picture?

well, look at the wingtips in 2-5, same kind of artifact.
In any case, it is probably real, birds do not respond in the same way as humans to injury. For one their brains don't need as much blood, so they don't bleed all that much from neck injuries.

Most likely shopped. No blood to the brain. I don't know if bird brains can surive any longer than the human brain but it would hurt a lot no? Doubt the bird could just stand up and look around like that.

i think its shopped but you cant go by the "well a human cant do it" standards. cause a turtle can still move with its head chopped off for days. but i dont thing a bird can move like that looking like that.

Yes, but from the looks of it all the muscle and connective tissues in the 'photo' are gone... so there is no way for it to hold the fully intact head up, it would not have the ability with the muscles gone. Plus it should be bleeding all over.

I think the heart of the issue is actually; why did the falcon leave?

My bet is that the scenerio played out a bit like so: "Oh sweet, a gull. Haha, tearing off your head, bitch, this is going to be delic- wait wait holy shit ZOMBIES, NO ONE TOLD ME 'BOUT FUCKIN' ZOMBIES. HO FUCK YOU GUYS ARE ON YOUR OWN."

Not incidentally, the anyone else think the gull is looking around as if to say "haters gon' hate"?

wen falcons attack they strip at the prey... blood vessels could have been ruptured if it attacked at its neck and it would have bled out
