Cosplay blogging idol Shoko-tan (see her gallery if you don’t know of her), is also known as something of a skilled illustrator; the latest creation she casually published on her blog is the above illustration of one time bikini model Aya Hirano…
If we leave aside the generous reduction in weight Shoko-tan has magnanimously granted her portly peer, the resemblance is rather good, although her 2D version seems rather more appealing than the 3D version?

Small (non-existent) Nose
Smaller mouth (no teeth showing)
Is that what we really prefer? What are your thoughts?
I think it's more just the anime style than the actual physical attributes.
If(god forbid) she was drawn concerning those points you made in say, western comic book form, there would probably be a lot of people who would DO NOT WANT together simultaneously.
Regardless, I like that she puts so much detail into the eyes. I'm amazed that someone who is supposedly only a cosplay idol has such a firm grasp of shading and the like.

had a bigger scan which included 2D versions of Inamura Yuna and Hanamura Satomi as well but can't seem to find it anymore....
If you happen upon it, please consider upping it to the Channel or otherwise as I think it would be interesting to see...
I don't know, asian girls, or maybe just japanese girls seem to pull off short hair with out appearing to be butch. Its very rare for a western girl to have short hair and look really good. Most of the time they come off as quirky or manlike. However looking through the galleries here, and various other places, japanese, and other asians for that matter can have short hair and still look sexy, and intelligent.
Also short haired anime girls are really cute.
this, sir, is entirely a matter of taste.

i certainly prefer it over the bleached and permed long hair styles that make many girls look nothing more than slutty and bitchy.
this is of course not to say long, blonde and permed hair looks bad in general.

I see that Shoko-tan's drawing skills has improved greatly, comparing to the delusional manga of Vegeta and Trunks fighting over her which she drawn many years ago lol

She uses photoshop to try and conceal it, but even then it rarely works.
I simply don't understand why you think that she's fat. I don't see nothing wrong with her. She looks in shape.
I don't really expect that you change your opinion about her, but those comments that you do sometimes kinda bug me.
Anyway, maybe you could show how fat she is actually if I fail on see something that is.

Hum, I remember that. However, not because a girl thinks she's fat means that she's actually fat. Also, is not the same 'fat' for a normal person that 'fat' for a show person. Maybe she could be fat for an idol. And don't forget that that article was a few months ago.

Both of them seem equally fuckable, but I'm also leaning on the 2D side since that's not exactly the best picture of her...

Wow, Aya is gorgeous in real life, sure 2d is cute but you can't seriously think it's better than the real girl? Aya is gorgeous, and so far from portly. If she's fat then I'm obese. Shoko is really talented though, that's an amazing drawing!
