A man has been arrested for keeping a stray schoolgirl he picked up at his home, and then starting to have sex with her.
The man, a 24-year-old firefighter, apparently happened upon the middle schooler (14) at the beginning of November, after she had just run away from her owners. He took her into his home, and kept her until his arrest on the 12th of December.
The pair apparently began having sex after this; we do not hear the precise details of this, but it does not appear to have been a coercive arrangement.
Whilst this was going on, the girl’s owners became worried and requested police look for their stray daughter, and soon the pair came to the attention of police.
The fireman was then arrested on suspicion of committing indecent acts upon the girl, whilst fully knowing she was under the age of 18.
The fire department has this to say: “We are still investigating the full facts of the matter, but we apologise deeply for the inconvenience we have thus far caused.”
