The small industry centred on taking dubious pictures of girls as young as 6 also has a little heard of male version, we learn. These boys can be seen enthusiastically cavorting in briefs and trunks (as well as in fundoshi and female clothing) whilst the camera lingers rather longingly on them.
It seems there is a whole genre of such DVDs, though they are far less popular than the young idol DVDs, and it looks as though an Akiba handshaking event is unlikely for these boys.
If you must, you can see what sort of contents they have here (nothing more sinister than boys running around in a river is present, though some would say that is sinister enough). They are sold normally in specialist idol shops.
In case you were wondering, the reaction on 2ch was basically the same as you might expect elsewhere, and it should be recalled these products are very much niche ones. It must also be remembered that full parental consent is obviously given.
