Sukumizu Most Loathed Moe Ero-Fashion Amongst Women

Otaku are weeping bitter tears upon being presented with the results of a recently conducted survey into which types of moe/fetish clothing are most accepted by actual females.
For once, the survey had a decent sample size (though probably not too randomly selected), with 2,000 participants, each being asked to identify which item of moe fashion they had least tolerance for. A sample of their responses is also presented with each item.
The results are instructive:
1. (24%) Sukumizu:
“I’m like, ‘What?’”
“Disgusting.”
“People with a taste for loli are just impossible.”2. (21%) Anime Cosplay:
“I don’t get it.”
“There’s a boundary between 2D and 3D – open your eyes!”
“I don’t even want to understand it.”
“Gross. Otaku suck.”
“I think the moe influence on them is the character, not the girl…”3. (11%) Gym uniform (taisougi)/bloomers:
“I don’t get what’s so good about these at all.”
“Just… why?”
“I still remember the disgust I felt…”
“This is just perverted, right?”4. (9%) Hadaka apron (naked apron):
“My boyfriend is actually into this…”
“You’re basically naked, right?”
“This is pretty sexy…”
“Having your bottom exposed like that is just too embarrassing.”5. (8%) Shimapan
6. (5%) School uniform
7. (4%) Nurse uniform
8. (3%) Pantsu and shirt (Y-shirts)
Other comments:
“People all have different tastes, but basically I don’t understand any of these.”
“There’s nothing I really dislike here. Aren’t nurse uniforms cute, if they match?”
“Since I’m ok with any of these I’ve probably been infected by ota…”
“It’s a matter of personal choice, but I think if you take it too far that’s no good.”
“Personally, I’d like to try out being a maid…”

It seems hadaka apron has a good chance, but sukumizu and cosplay are out. Y-shirtsu and nurse and school uniforms look practically de rigeur amongst Japanese ladies.
Possibly maid outfits are not featured as too few objected to them?

apparently these women, have issues of their own. its no wonder the birth rate is on a downhill slide.
Maybe the women are sensitive about their age, and being asked to wear something associated with lolicon is insulting to them.
The sukumizu has never done anything for me. I like bikinis a lot more.
The pantsu & shirt are a great combo, I love it when I get it. Never tried the naked apron bit though. It looks like fun.
Having my wife to dress on a Hadaka apron would be nice.
Well, cosplay would be difficult as one would have to have the different costumes...
But seriously, girls should be more understanding of the male needs...

Good point. VERY few straight guys wouldn't be bothered by yaoi, and tiny, little shorts for shotacon tastes, for example.

Well, I'm guessing most of the woman who took the survey was straight. I like all that stuff, except the most loathed fashion (I don't think sukumizu is sexy at all, and would never wear it.).
I'd truly love to wear a lot of the outfits. I mean, otaku really creep women out, but a lot of anime costumes are so cuuute!
i think sukumizu can just feel unflattering to some people. people want to feel like they look good, so.. yeah.
...or at least kinder about it.

a lot of women don't like their own bodies that much, though, and that's the problem.
when someone else sees a girl in a bikini, they're like 'AAA SHE LOOKS GREAT' but the girl herself will often be like 'BAAAWWW I LOOK LIKE A WHALE'

Part of the appeal is that the girls are wearing said clothing against their will, its all part of the plan.

Yes.... I agree with drawing the line between 2D and 3D, that's why most of them people like me will stay away from the 3D world, basically I gave up on whats real out there and prefer to satisfy myself with 2D.

you can find some pretty sexy/kinky well drawn stuff in 2d. But it's good to get out sometimes and at least be around real girls.

Well, is a shame for the sukumizu, the wich I really like. But Yay! for the nurse uniform and the Gym uniform/bloomers, they are my favorites too. Especially the nurse uniform =D
To be honest the only one on that list that I truely like is the Hadaka Apron, so I'm glad it is low (I like cosplay when it is good, but too little of it is, I know no one wants to see me dressed in those either). People that seem confused about why the sukumizu is so reviled, it is rather simple. More then any other moe ero-fashion (at least on this list) sukumizu is associated with loli. It isn't exclusively loli, but that is often the first thing thought of with sukumizu. Personally it wouldn't surprise me if the number of female loli fans was extremely low.

maybe you are right, I like sukumizu but I am not too much in lolicon, I prefer them older, but of course wearing a sukumizu, and for sure they're just being hypocrites and conservatives
