A maid dancing to Macross Frontier’s “Interstellar Flight” signature tune, complete with Ranka Lee inspired “kira”, and with perhaps rather more enthusiasm than skill, is the latest amateur musical senstation to be found on NicoNico Douga.

She has come to be dubbed “Minka Lee”, or Minka-chan, as she appears to dancing in a minka, or traditional Japanese house. Whether or not her dancing is any good is generally seen to be beside the point, as she has an appealing maid costume amongst other assets.
There is a huge amount of speculation on Nico as to the gender of this maid, something we seem to have seen a lot of lately. I invite you to speculate on the matter, and will provide a poll to assist:

That is definitely a girl. After reading the comments on nico from this video and various others, it really make me wonder what they are thinking. Their image of Japanese men must be seriously contorted to think the person in this video is male.
It is a bit strange, but there are a lot of good crossdressers plying their trade on Nico and in Japan generally. Besides, here we have people commenting "trap!!" on all kinds of posts with alarming frequency...

Haha can't you guys tell it's a wig? Real hair doesn't have that odd sheen, also his arms kind of give it away.
Just so you know... majority of male arms can NOT hyper extend like a female's arms can. Pay attention to when she extends her arm straight out and notice how it bends further than "straight". That's the biggest clue that she's most likely a female. If you're a guy, extend your arm out as much as possible and see if it's straight instead of angled.
