The raunchificated Koihime Musou DVDs have come to be a fan favourite, but in the 3rd DVD, containing the 5th and 6th episodes, we witness some interesting production choices, visible in the below comparison (DVD version on the left):
For some reason the ero-DVD version (not that that these is much ero this time; check the second and first to see more ero) sees fit to dispense with the charming chibi versions in favour of occasional pantsu? The TV version is still included, but of course without the added ero.
You will also notice a change in scenery…

i got both versions. i can’t decide between super kawaii chibi or occasional pansu, so i’m gonna watch it twice!
Have to go with rare panchira over chibi.. Simply, just watch them both.
