Cosplay Terrorism: Oricon Photoshop Masters Busted

When reality is not got enough, there is Photoshop. In this case, 2channers have spied an interesting example: a promotional image for the upcoming anime adapted film ヤッターマン / YatterMan, due 2009, which features possibly ill-advised cosplay costumes.

This is actually quite surprising to see... no wonder the real thing are always so much different...

Why the sleeve?
we need more gifs like these for the covers of Japanese porn. But where to get the originals from...
For some reason the one u ppl are saying is photoshopped looks more real to me....this is bcus of the pixelation of the first image and the sleeves are different on each image!
Sleeve & background: you can see that the first image, with the deformed sleeve, reveals more background than the second image. So if the first image was the photoshopped one, the artist would have had to redraw it from scratch.
However, in every place where the second image reveals more background than the first, you can see that the background has been warped to fill in; if, as you said, the first was photoshopped, why would anyone shrink back the background to add weight to the model? Wouldn't it be simpler and more natural to simply hide the corresponding background?
Pixelation: there is no reason to believe that the photoshopper would have to work from the image that we see here, instead of a higher resolution version.
Bonus: why would anyone want to show the first version when the second looks so much better?
To insult the model, duh.
you can tell the difference if you look at the background and color combination.
Is that seriously just fixed? The extent of the change looks more like a total reshooting of a different model... I'm gobsmacked if it's real, totally leet skillz.
Just look at the bricks to confirm it...
this isn't even the worst (or best?) photoshop makeover...a quick tour through youtube will change your opinion of photoshop as simply an editing tool
