Utawarerumono Gets Ero-OVA

As far as I can recall, the anime was pretty accurate with its portrayal of the game aside from swapping around of when some of the things happened, removing all the battle scenes that only involved generic monsters, and then of course the removal of all the ero aspects though one of those also has a heavy affect on the ending of the game in terms of the meaning for Oboro's actions so that one kind of has a big impact on everything.

Probably missing a few things, but it's been almost two whole years since I watched the anime and damn does my memory suck when it comes to most things.

Oh well, wouldn't mind seeing what they change with it.

I really hope they keep the same cast.

After playing the game I couldn't see the anime as anything other than an atrocity... Hopefully further maiming of the title won't result from this -_-

Following Utawarerumono way back when, it's definitely one of the shows I recall most fondly. It's actually amazing that I still haven't gotten around to playing the game.

But yes, one of my favourite anime ever.

Anime was great by my book in that it was a pretty faithful adaptation of the game minus the echi and Urtoriy's side story, but looks like there's a chance now to revisit all of that.

Actually I finished watching utawarerumono like a week ago and news of another ova is like a blessing :)

Here's to hoping the animation quality won't be degraded.

the anime was not ecchi in any way. when someone said thsi originated from an eroge, i couldnt make the connection because the anime seemed heavily story driven. maybe with this eroge it can bring the true potential of what uwataremono was originally in the vn.

Having been an Utawa fan for quite a long time, this can only be good news. I do hope though, that they use the same voices, it would be strange otherwise I think.

Oh yes! Finally! I've been hesitant on this series for quite some time, but seeing an ero ova on the works I'll go and buy the dvd's now. lol Kinda reminds me of Green Green Erolutions ova and the 3 short yuri stories.

I'm a huge fan of Utawarerumono (took me months to remember how that was spelled.) but I gotta say...Really? I understand Utaware still has a faithful following, but if they're gonna put out OVAs for this, where the FUCK are my GOD DAMN Tsukihime Sacchin OVAs!?

OH FUCK YES. Utawarerumono was one of my favorite anime for a while. Hope to play the game soon.
Giving it a mature appeal only makes it even better.

FINALLY! This thing has been in the works for ages, if I'm not mistaken.

Would've preferred a second season with older Aruru, but more Utaware is always a good thing.

If this has a 3-way scene with Touka and Karura, it might just be the best ero-OVA ever...
