The Tragedy of Hiromu Minato

That's...kind of messed up. More so than the other stuff I've been reading here.

This is terribly sad. To be such a great illustrator and to be cut off such prematurely by a low-life co-worker is really tragic.
Thanks for preserving her works via the Channel.
I really hope the stalker gets arrested for this.

The work shown is absolutely gorgeous - it's too bad such a sad story has to go with it.

How "nuanced" is attempted rape though? I think it's a pretty black and white issue, especially if she got so traumatized she couldn't draw anymore :(.

This is really sad to see such a talented and great artist pass away like this... As a fellow artist and human being, she has my deepest sympathies.
I hope the stalker at least got arrested for this and not just another case dismissal due to the lack of direct connecting evidence..

This is such a sad event, where a person's life with so much promise is sent tumbling by some persistant bastard. Those final images will haunt me for some time.

The art is great.

Her work must have deteriorated since because of that Stalker. Seeing her final works the girl with a sword seems and whip she wants to fight back or something. Also seeing the 2 friends on the right side seems she needs a friend in her time of need. Too bad her illustration in the channel and gallery are awesome. But like an artisan if something doesn't inspire you you can't make good art.

Cocaine is a hell of a drug.

It's sad to find out that you can't do certain things like yesterday again. It can be anything - a job, a hobby or just a simple life skill. Some peoples can't accept this personal setback.

I wept when I read this and this is so very sad. She's a very promising and talented artist and her artworks are beautiful.

May her soul rest in peace and may her stalker die in hell.

Her art is amazingly beautiful. I feel sorry that this happened, fuckers need to realize: the artists are ESPECIALLY off limits. You don't harass or rape them. Even if you get into a relationship, you treat'm like a goddess, because they create art which ignites our lolicon souls!

One-sided or no, this story makes me want to go to Japan and beat the shit out of the fucked up Japanese guys. The women are treated like shit there, it makes me rage.

Are you sure that she passed away? Maybe as statement as an artist "phase" on a particular event or just "about/of" her site.

That's just.... sad T-T, such an awesome Moeloli female artist yet had her life destroyed just because some stupid low-class stalking freak, i hoped he's now in jail waiting for his torture followed by an execution.

My heart goes out to her and her family. I hope they are able to recover from this tragedy, and I sincerely hope the wretch responsible for causing her such pain is dealt with appropriately.

A really talented artist, the industry and indeed the world is a poorer place for her passing.

It is really a sad state of affairs, a country that is the pride of the world for technology and innovation has such aparentley crap working legislations regarding the harassment of employees, especially it seems the female ones.

So now we have been robbed of an exeptionally talented artist just because some pervo cound'nt control his rancid desires.

I hope all involved [including the fellow workers who knew it was going on but did nothing to help her] receive a truly appalling Karmic reward for this......

Japan is not the only place where women are treated like shit. But that doesn´t mean that it doesn´t suck just as much. Misogyny is one of the great crimes of mankind. Rapists should be put to the death penalty or life sentences, along with molesters. That would stop that dead in its tracks.
