A 14-year-old schoolgirl face charges after a drunken rampage in which she beat, and badly injured, a teacher who thought to stop her.
The girl and her middle school classmates apparently started drinking some shochu based drinks at a local supermarket, and quickly became inebriated.
Soon they began to run amok, causing such a ruckus that a shop employee called in a teacher from a nearby school to straighten them out.
He arrived, and began to lecture them, but the girl took exception and attacked him, beating him and breaking his nose severely.
