Tsukihime the visual novel, and Tsukihime the anime are two very different entities. If you haven't played the visual novel, and I'm assuming you haven't if you said something like that after reading this, then you really should play it. It'll change your view on Tsukihime, at least if you're someone who enjoys reading since it is a visual novel after all.

It's a common for Type-Moon fans to vehemently deny the existence of the Tsukihime anime, due to it's failure.

    It's something of an in-joke.

That said, this of course, would only be true if such a Tsukihime anime had theoretically existed, which of course it does not.

No need to report any further developments on that front then, I take it.

That's odd.. why would they call the anime adaptation Tsukihime II like there was even a Tsukihime I? That's kind of silly.

Wasn't this announced ages ago, at hte end of the manga or something?

Remember a sketch, even gave hints at the plot, Shiki, now in full blown satsujinki mode is assassinating the dead apostles, who are plotting witht he mages association to take out arc, Enhance, one of the apostles, teams up with Satsujinki to take out the apostles.

There was even a prologue in the character material of Satsujinki assassinating Louvre, one of the apostles, and did it so fast Louvre wasn't aware he died.

Are you sure it isn't talking about the Remake of Tsukihime? While there has been plenty of material about a Tsukihime 2 floating around for a while (though the manga hasn't ended yet, I don't know what you mean by that), in Dokuhon and Character Material, Nasu stated that it's just an idea in his mind at this point a while ago. I'd also think that since they're working on Mahoutsukai no Yoru and the Tsukihime remake, they wouldn't have time for this for a while. Just speculation, though.

I never said I was sure about anything - what's clear is that "Tsukihime II" was written as you can see for yourself. Just what this refers to is a matter for baseless speculation and guesswork.

But there won't be any more Fate material (I think this was said some where). So now this leaves Type-Moon to give us all the Tsukihime stuff we want.

Frankly, I don't think they could write more Fate stuff if they tried. It's got a whole hell of a lot of spin-offs already.

IIRC, "Mahoutsukai no Yoru" is already confirmed, however some people mistook this as the "sequel" to Tsukihime.
If anything, it would be the prequel.

COULD THIS BE!!!... the curse of tatari... Then I must stop these rumors to prevent the night of walachia from occurring...

But if I can't stop it... Then I will end its existence once more!

lolz! sorry for those non-tsukihime fans, go read both tsukihime and meltyblood to understand my message

for short it never existed!!! lolz

I'm willing to think that this so-called Tsukihime II is more than probably the Tsuki *remake* that was announced a while ago. It may be misunderstood as Tsukihime II due to the release of certain info, such as the inclusion (FUKKEN FINALLY!) of (poor) Sacchin's route.

Although I'm still intrigued by the choice of image at the top -- it's Tsuki we're talking about, so why include the Lens and Sion as well? o_O

    23:42 20/09/2010 # ! Neutral (0)

although sion and white len have nothing to do with the story of tsukihime, the original len had a fair bit to play in Ciel's and Arcuied's arcs.

yah know, that whole dream sequence with the... you know...

The image is not by Takeuchi, it was just grabbed off somewhere, probably from Danbooru. I think it's the remake of Tsukihime they're talking about as well.

As a few have said before me. Nasu has confirmed in a somewhat recent Tech Gian exclusive article that they will be making 3 new titles: a Tsukihime remake with a Sacchin arc (she'll prolly just die anyway), Mahou Tsukai no Yoru/Witch on a Holy Night, and Girls' Work (and unrelated title). There's no Tsukihime 2 coming out yet, as much as I'd rather them work on Tsukihime 2 than a Tsukihime remake.

Everyone who keeps talking about the anime, or assuming that they're talking about a sequel to the anime should enlighten themselves on the REAL Tsukihime - the visual novel.

Excuse me, the Tech Gian exclusive was just the announcement of Witch on a Holy Night. Type-Moon Ace had the article with confirmation of the above stated.
