Toradora Manga Degenerates into Scribbles

This chapter of the Toradora! manga, published in now defunct Dengeki Comic Gao, has attracted note recently for a sudden deterioration in the quality of its art, to a level which, as you can see above, many fans are likening to mere scribbles.
Allegedly, this is the result of an incredible editorial mistake: a rough storyboard was somehow published instead of the finished pages, visible below, and somehow got as far as being printed and distributed before Dengeki cottoned on, and rectified the errors in later printings.
2channers spotted it all, as usual.
Dengeki seems to be having staffing problems of late – perhaps they should start firing these less useful employees, starting with their HR department?

That's a pretty big issue to let slip by.
I can has refund?
I find this mistake very educational. It is very interesting to see a glimpse of how a manga is done.
Agree, it's fun to wathch the process. And I am already want this issue.
You do know that Dengeki Gao was discontinued more than half a year ago, right?
The source said about as much. Not sure about the dating. You're right to pick me up for accidentally slipping in a "latest" though.
It's not clear why it suddenly gets brought up in a thread now, but better late than never?
heads must roll for this travesty!
It's funny how later on, otakus would kill to get some random famous manga scribbles...
Not that bad a mistake... interesting to see how the whole thing looks before completion.
Exactly. These scribbles will very most likely become some sort of collector items later on. Heck, even I'd like to have one of these!
Just as planned.
Honestly, I think that it would have been fine if the scribble style was put into the context of the panel.
Some example would be if the world was melting ala Evangelion, if a character was waking up from a dream, or if a character was detached from the regular world in some way (daydreaming, shifting perception, being introspective, etc).
Best mistake ever. Bet this on issue becoming a collector's item.
I had the same thought. I'm betting people are going to quickly snatch these up & some extras to sell for a big price.
Looks like it caught Hunter × Hunter disease. Is this Togashi's new side project? :P
what is HR to start off.
and wow its interesting and educative but it freaked me a bit
Talk about limited edition items! Lol..
Educacional sin duda alguna.
Parece un apéndice del libro "How To Draw Manga, Super Manga Sketching vol" xD
Ojala se pudieran ver mas errores así (solo por curiosidad).
Cgs inconclusos, Animes con escenas sin pintura acrilica , etc.
That's one heck of a mistake.
Suddenly...a collector's item
XD
I wouldnt mind a little mistakes like this from time to time, it shows us how mangas are made . . . very educational XD
btw, why does the scribbles looked similar to what I saw when I took my glasses off?
xDDD
Very funny
Why was the manuscript/name/storyboard typeset? I thought typesetting wasn't done until the art had been inked and, well, finished.
*The night before the deadline*
"Oh shit! I got to finish this off!
Some sweet half ass work there and a glimpse at the drawing process.
