Here we have a complete set of yet to be revealed (in the anime at least) characters from A Certain Magical Index, which as you know has an extensive series of light novels already published.
Some rather nice character designs look to be in evidence; considering the success of the series, might we be seeing these in future seasons?
As to identifying them all, I can barely manage Index; if you can identify more, or need to know who is who, your best bet is using the notes feature on the Channel.

The female cast is HUGE. This should ensure a second season i hope.
I hope so. While the dialogue can get overly wordy (and occasionally silly) at times, I remain enamoured by the series. It's a great universe with a strong cast of characters.

Even now, I am still quite amazed at the background used.. endless possibilities. o_O
Yeah, most anime these days have almost zero plot & storyline. Although silly sometimes, the dialogue really make sense and explains every situation to me so it's never confusing.
To Aru Majutsu no Index is certainly different from the rest and I'd like to see MORE interesting & cool characters!

From what I've heard, the Accelerator's gender is undisclosed even after 16 books.
I gotta rethink my attempt to collect all the Toaru Majutsu no Index figures.
Aww... My favourite character by far in this series is Mikoto. Awesome first episode debut, but need more of her! :)
she has her own whole anime, and will most likely appear in the second season as well, i think thats enough to satisfie yióur need of mikoto
