The service levels in the third episode of Macademi Wasshoi seem to have risen dramatically, with a focus on oppai. The general level of irreverent humour in the anime (even including some Famitsu references now) has also risen, with positive results on all fronts.
Interestingly, it also seems the pointless claymation censorship has been dropped, although the anime still remains censored in many places.
The censorship we’re left with takes this form; still pointless, it has to be said.
The unique visual style is really a pleasure to behold, thanks to Blade’s influence.
It is starting to remind me of Hare+Guu, but with more ecchiness and video game references (as an RPG parody it is perhaps second only to Mahoujin GuruGuru), a promising sign indeed. It will be very interesting to see what the DVD has in store, which is perhaps an unfortunate admission of how effective the show’s DVD marketing is.
