Melancholic fans compared the various upcoming 3D Haruhi games to the works of a mysterious 3D CG artist, whose identity seems unknown. As you can see, the games fair rather badly.
Fantastic. Should you know anything about the provenance of these 3D illustrations, please do share.
Those games we keep hearing about:
Comparing artfully pre-rendered (presumably) 3D to behind-the-curve cash cow Haruhi games may be unfair (though the PS3 should be able to manage something on this level), but what about anime rendered in this style?
Faster, better and cheaper, and already here, we can but hope producers start to explore the possibilities of this technology further in both games and anime…
It doesn’t really look bad, but it doesn’t seem to bring anything new content-wise.

Thank you…
Too bad. I would like to play the game.
is it really true that the dancing wii game got cancelled? because i saw a video from the nintendo summit and they show the trailer of the game
BEHOLD! The power of WII!!!!
(As a Nintendo fanboy, I can’t believe I said that with absolute sarcasm.)
And btw, they didn’t cancel the game. They only canceled the part that’s the game’s very soul and essence. But hey, you still get…like minigames, and…uh such.
Please read the article.
I actually like the game renders better than the fan renders, sure the fan renders have a larger variety of shades and polygons but remember anime drawings can be quite simple and only contain simple shading. Also the 3D hair in those fan renders like pieces of clay.
