Strike Witches fan activity is becoming more and more extensive, and it now looks as if the hugely successful pantsu anime is about to spawn a hugely successful event as well; a Strike Witches only doujin event, わたしにできること / The Things I Can Do (or “To Do What I Can” to go by the liberally translated official titles), is set to open on the third of November.
It is to be held in Ota-ku, Tokyo (or Oota-ku, if you must).
You can find all the details you need to attend on their homepage.
What is notable is that the event started recruiting for 30 circles, but 114 actually applied, so it looks set to become a major fixture of the Strike Witches world if this continues. It should also be interesting to see how the popularity of the various witches develops.
It is said that for a single title event with event participation such as this is indicative of a title having considerable popularity. It may not become the next Reitaisai, but Strike Witches, it seems, is only getting started…
Disappointingly, their cosplay guidelines ask cosplayers not to engage in any pantsu like thing exposure. Surely at some point we will get to see a good Strike Witch cosplayer?
A cosplayer would be great. Odds are most parents are keeping their lolis away from series like this like the plague though 🙁
SW cosplay, what I’ve been waiting for!
Otherwise, this even is awesome. Shows the fandub for SW is still beating strong, way after the anime is over.
Very cute.
This is image is priceless!

I hope there will be lots of doujins with these two!
